Hi I have a pile of the old dewalt 18v cordless tools and my last battery died, so if I buy the 18v to 20v adapter and a new 20v battery can I plug the battery & adapter into my old 18v charger to charge or any help on what you did to get a new battery for these ? Thanks

Thanks everyone I tested the circuit and found the breaker for this cable it’s a 16a and the cable is a 1.5mm and only serving this cable, so terminal on the end taped up and breaker off and taped over and marked as such, I do simple wiring on lights and sockets but not at the cu so will see if...

Originally tested with a volt pen so it showed one set live and 5he others dead 5hen tested with a multimeter across live & neutrals and nothing. Then repeated with the live set and 242v so kept testing while switching mcb ( sorry don’t know what they are called) and then found the one that...

The live must go straight to the cu and I had a look at where the old hot water tank was but no ends there and nothing at the old room stat or pump, so when they changed the system to a combi they must have just cut the other ends. So I am left with these with the live on the connector block
