Thanks very much mate i carefully tested between the contacts with the power on and there was no voltage between them. I did not know that about the pressure switch mind. Where did you learn to fault find that in depth or is it just experience

your a life saver, to test the tco do i just check between the terminals going in either side and should it be continuous or broken when not operated? and how do i test the pressure switch?

I was asked to take a look at a newly installed triton shower because there was no hot water comeing from it. i checked the flow rate and checked that it was getting the minimum pressure required to activate it and it was but it is still only pumping out cold water any suggestions??

covings not actually going up thats just where i was going to put the plastic conduit its in a gym and the ceilings are fairly high up and its about a 5 meter run so just looking at the easiest way to do the job. there are a few large gym machines along the wall so access is a bit of a problem...

its an odd one its going to be along the ceiling, sounds daft but where you would put coveing and down the wall to a double socket its for a fused spur to a tv.

you might be wondering why not just run single core cable through, it's because i'm penniless at the min and have plenty of 2.5 twin and earth.
