It will have a diverter valve in the boiler. Combis have diverter valves and pumps inside the boilers.

The d40 is the set temp say 60 or 65 The d41 is 32 or 36 The pump is working otherwise there would be no heat? D00 is 22kw, if I set it above 24/26 then it makes noises and as suggested on another thread, the d00 is too high hence the noises

D41 does not rise D1 is 5 D2 is 20 What do you mean it fires up with CH and HW and HW on its own? Thats correct it will stay firing at a temp in the 40s

It happens if bypass is open or closed This is how the boiler has been functioning for a number of years

I dont know what to suggest then, some of the guys on here with more knowledge on these toys may be able to advise. But sceptical me of this fancy technology thinks if these controllers are connected to WiFi then they can be hacked.

Same issue on a 15 year old vaillant. Apparently it is normal, and if your new boiler is doing this then I suppose it is. Have you considered calling vaillant out under warranty?

It's case of repetitive process. If you've already fitted 50 baxi's it will be very easy for you... Every guy has their preferences, some prefer Worcester, some vaillant, some baxi etc And many are also approved installers and some have done specific repair courses on a particular brand hence...

Use the gas safe register and find someone locally. You'll have lots to choose from.

What about labour? As that can vary. Do you currently have heating? If so what's making you change boiler?

What's your total budget including fitting and clock? Have you got quotes for labour only yet? As that alone could affect your boiler budget.

Absolutely agree. It's absolutely pointless, who looks behind the rad anyway, after a while you get used to the imperfections around the house. Last thing you want is messing around with the heating system, get air in it, bracket plays up, old joints / compressions. Not worth the headache...

Have you looked into Viessmann? German engineering similar to vaillant. I won't rush it, if you currently got heat I'd take time particularly as its Xmas period some guys might be off until new years. I've never heard of vokera.
