    you would need to bury it a bit deeper anyway,so the coupler flushes in properly.makes for a very pukka job does conduit :wink: do it mate,no issue :D

    actually,i think i may have misunderstood.are you saying the backboxes havent been flushed in properly? if this is the case,again you could use silicone but still no substitute for taking out the backboxes and flushing in properly

    you could use silicone but then the connections arent readily accesible. its a bit rough to be honest.cant you unscrew the 3.5 screws and stick some plaster in there? if its worth doing,at least do it properly

    i just use any old tape to be honest,the more expensive ones tend to get nicked a lot though.has to be inch wide so i can get a decent span without it folding up.other than that never use different ones at the same time

    do what RF said,thats the only sensible way. your going to get blueing from the grinder and any kind of saw will give a rough cut. EDIT: you could try taking it to a sheet metal place,bet they will have some sort of guillotine to cut it
