    had a few like that lately and it tends to be more of a problem with poorly manufactured sanitaryware. i tend to stick with manufacturers i know and therefore reduce the risk. sadly we just have to deal with it.

    it sounds more like air in the pump than a fault with the diverter valve valve. try bleeding the pump via the the big screw or nut on the face of the pump. you will get a slight dribble of water but thats normal.

    unless its a dfe ( decorative fuel effect) fire you dont need an air vent for gas rated input of 7kw or less( usually known as ilfe or inset live flame effect) if its a dfe then u need 100cm2 mandatory

    worcester 280 rsf NG

    my 280 is playing up. no heat no hot water. all i get is pilot lights up but continues to generate a spark forever!! burner will not light. Gettin a bit smelly now with no shower!! any one help please?
