Baxi Bermuda back boiler burning smell

Yes it's repairable and no you can't put on the fire. You need to get these checked mate and the also the chimney/flue. The fire might be okay but the flue might be blocked so you can't take a chance unless you want a fatality on your hands.

Please help, no heating despite three "repairs"!

Thanks Tony. Difficulty is suggesting these things to the so-called experts, especially when you're a girl  You won't believe it but the stupid thing is now pumping out heat, full on (no thermostat) and has been for over two hours, longest time it has worked for several days :roll...

Baxi Bermuda back boiler burning smell

Yes it would have alarmed if there was a problem, providing it's working ok, still wouldn't use the boiler under any circumstances until it's checked properly. You can get an enormous build up of CO very very quickly mate, especially with these sorts of weather conditions we're experiencing...

NEW CONDENSING BOLIER REQUIRED WHAT TYPE ???

No it's two years out of the box for a non approved installer but WB do an extended warranty, it used to be about £195 a year which included a service I think. Still good value for money if you have a Greenstar CDI which has to have it's HEX checked every year as part of the service. Give...

NEW CONDENSING BOLIER REQUIRED WHAT TYPE ???

Depends on what you want mate. A WB Greenstar CDI comes with a five year warranty as long as it's installed by WBAI (approved installer) however these boilers ain't cheap, you can go down the cheap boiler road with something like a Vokera Compact 25HE or 29HE which are about half the price of...

ariston microgenus 27 repair or replace..?

I install WB boilers and would only recommend the Greenstar CDI range, 27CDI or 30 CDI, they come in about £1K and £1.1K with a five year warranty however with someone in your circumstances I would recommend a Vokera Compact 25HE at about £450 plus fitting, the boiler comes with two years...

Baxi Bermuda back boiler burning smell

Turn your boiler off and don't use it untill you get someone out. Sounds as though the heat exchanger has sooted up and if so very dangerous.

Please help, no heating despite three "repairs"!

Well your boiler is working in the sense that the divertor valve, microswitchs, fan, aps, pump, gas valve are all doing thier job so it is going to be a sensor issue or perhaps a faulty PCB with something on the board not connected properly or loose, a relay or something. But the fact that...

Are you still getting hot water? If so I would be looking at the heating sensor, NTC. Tony

    Vokera Compact 24 (No CH)

No, I would say, in that case there is a blockage somewhere on the pipework however you have to check the iso valves first (because they are easy to check) in order to eliminate them from the equation. Glasgowgas has told you all of this already so don't ask any more questions or start...

    Vokera Compact 24 (No CH)

They get f@cked mate cause you used them  Not saying they are knacked but the only way you can tell is to take them out and, at the risk of incurring the wrath of mr perfectionist, replace them anyway but they might cost all of £12 each so you might want to check that the third world...

    Vokera Compact 24 (No CH)

Disnae mean they are not f@cked mate. In order to find out you need to get them out and check wether they are in fact open or closed.
