Thanks sleepyhead...worked a treat

Can anyone advise on how to remove the switch assembly on these things please? I can prise it away a bit but am afraid to go too far in case I break it. The switch itself is fine...I just need to check a loose wire inside so don't want to break it. many thanks

That diagram is perfect. Just thought I'd add that these benders can be tricky to hold properly unless your shown first hand. The metal things are formers that slide between the pipe and the rollers. Follow the pic above carefully and you'll get there in the end I'm sure.
