    just to follow on with what chappers said, kingspan over the battons is perfectly acceptable and easier to do. however if you put the kingspan in between it will save you a little space, if space is an issue. also you could use the battons for future fixings. if you are not bothered about space...

    manchester college of building sounds like the place you should contact. i did my training there and there was a girl there then and i'm going back some years. they do the full training course there which you are not after but a call to them may give you some ideas of who to contact. dj.
