    As i previously stated , I need to keep the exsisting grey waste pipe (plastic) that leads out of the wall . I want to use the new waste (chrome ) but the diametre of the section that would go to the grey is different otherwise it would be a straight swap .Hope this makes sense .

    The decor panels are attached in 300mm intervals via staples . I put some 10mm hardboard in between to accomodate the shower etc to make it more solid.     sounds better the more i think about doing that . The batons i have now are only 10mm would it be easier to rip them out an replace with something biggeror extend the exsisting ones . the gap is 3inch

    The waste goes outside but i only have say 300mm coming in and i will need 500mm . I have the 500mm flexis , i have got some more brackets and sealent .Just need to extend the grey waste pipe into the one i have. if i remeber i needed a reducer .

    The wall are breeze block and plaster , the decor panels were put on with batons after the bath was seated , leveled then bolted to the wall with brackets , the bath then had a run of plaster around the edge to fill any large gaps .     I am thinking of starting again and putting the gap at the tap ends , i will have to drill a 16mm hole in the end of bath to accomodate shower pipe feed. The only problem i can forsee is the waste , if i go 100mm/150mm in i will be short on the waste pipe that goes outside through the wall .

    what would be the longest length of 22mm to 3/4 flexi i could purchase. May have to start again and swap ends . It is possible but i would need some longer flexi pipes and unseal evrything.

    Im afraid i have to hold my hand up and admit i have made a mistake, i have striped the tiles of the wood and i have noticed that the wood is not level with the bath it is aprox 4mm below the level , i thought by adding the tiles it would bring them level and not cause a problem.     Just bit the bullet and completely shower sprayed the tile section while looking underneath and thier is a drip and slight run of water running down towards the corner .

    No leaks or drips when shower is without someone in, as soon as it used the leak then apears down one corner , i am certain is is coming from the tile section.

    I have replaced a couple of parts and after running the shower all is well with the conections , however i have now noticed that the tile section is not completely watertight as i am getting water coming down and dripping in the corner as if it is running towards me as the other corner is dry ...

    Thanks for the posotive comments, all i can do with the pipe going through the tiles is try to seal it the best i can , going to replace and rethink set up.

    The bath is finished , the tiling at the end is also finished and sealed ,the service pipe basicaly sits on the tiles , thats why i am going to replace it , i thought by putting it lower down it would not be unsightly . the leak is under the bath were on the nut you can just see the leak seeping...
