It's a shame you don't posts more like that, a lot of your post are good and constructive no doubt. The point yet again is your put down of other posters.
The exact reason I CBA to comment on softus last bunch of comments with such gems as "I don't know. Can't you remember?" it's like talking to my 6 year old nephew.
Just about sums the bloke up really, no idea how to communicate with other people in a reasonable manner.
Softus seemed to...
Where are the facts about deleting Emails in here then
For that statement to be fact it would state about deleting Emails which is the norm in the clients being used.
Did I say your 1st post wasn't aimed at more people than Tony? I only quoted Tony because you did and then dissected his...
The usual pedantic post from softus.
When talking about emails/POP3 "Oh look he referred to an email account accessed with POP3 as an account instead of protocol" I'll bang on and on about that untill I'm blue in the face
Tony stated that that "the messages are deleted from the...
I think offices & companies just pay for them as they are a standard and therefore this just sets a standard! Also a lot of the packages like Word, Excel etc. come bundled with windows for not much extra when you buy it so it saturates the market place. You ask most people to name a spreadsheet...
That's good but we've only just started, I can feel this rumbling on for weeks if not months yet, and there'll be questions at the end of it.
Now where sofus gone 8)
You can send global messages to 255.255.255.255 but you can’t set a device address as 255.255.255.255 so not really of any relevance. If a device replies it must be a something like a NIC.
Nothing new to report there then black is still white, I’ve proved my point.
I accept your apology...
It's due to softus being over pedantic and starting an argument/debate  based on semantics. All forums seem to have trolls and pedants like him, its a bit of fun pulling them along for a while until you get bored, they then move on to the next poster.
You have made this post a very easy one by not having a leg to stand on, having nothing of any interest to add and by merely repeating the same failed arguments time and time again. I may as well do the same back as that is you level of intelligence (or lack of intelligence ).
Surprise...
Surprise surprise, yet another post from softus avoiding any content or answering a direct question, what a typical childish response.
No, there is no error; you really are flogging a dead horse with this one. Private IP’s give away exactly what they are, private, not accessible to the web...
Yet again another blank answer with no content, what is the point then?
Do you see any patten emerging here? You really do see to have serious communication problems.
As above you post comments with no argument given, a very easy way to try to look in control.
The OP was asking...
I was simply pointing out that a person surfing the web is different to a website, this has not been mentioned in the thread as far as I can see, admittedly I only scanned the first 2/3 pages as I didn't realise some pedant may over scrutinise a rapidly typed post. In my 2nd post I was...
Do you mean "mean" or "meant"?
In the context of "most people who are on the web" it's fairly plain to see it means surfer or someone connected to the internet, how can a person be a website?
Of course I do, see above. Do you think a chunk of space on a server is the same as a surfer on the...
Mine are here :-
C:\Documents and Settings\Dobbo\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{0E8EBF8C-A0B8-4804-9A28-B996C433F045}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Replace the Dobbo with you login or Default User and the number will be different but the rest could be the same......maybe :lol...
The easiest way may be to look on the manufactures website for the set up. You'll probably need to go in to the router (the unit plugged in to the phone or cable socket and set a password up on that, the set the same password up on any PC that you use on the wireless.
To get in to the router...
It's a good point Dave, and one that crossed my mind after I'd posted and found a problem with it, for those reasons I uninstalled it... it was installed for about 1/2 hour purely because I wanted to see what it was like.
FF is more than good enough for me at this moment in time 8)
