Its a power steering pipe from my 2010 Mercedes-Benz e350 3.0 v6. Its leaking from one of those sections arrowed.. can it be repaired or not ? Tia

I tried that but nothing seemed to change . The battery in the car key was low I replaced the battery and the car locks properly now just need to sort interior lights out and driver door switch

Thanks.. it looks like 1 small red wire but it come from a bunch of other wiring as per photo .. I only realised yesterday that it might just be that because the wire snapped when replacing the battery ans it was right after that the issues started

I snapped that small wire when removing the battery it was after installing new battery back on that the driver door .. interuor lifts and driver door switch for windows dont work.. could it be due ot that snapped wire ?

Yep 100 percent sure i didnt but i remembered when removing the battery i snapped a small wire could that be anything to do with it ? Ill upload a pic tomorrow

Mope I still feel the resistance on the door handle the door opens manually just not with the lock .. I justvrwalsied a small snapped wire on the battery could that be the cause ? I snapped it when removing battery

It has no power steering fluid in as i took pipe off.. I mean would it cause any damage to the power steering pump if I start engine without touching the steering wheel I ain't bothered if it loses any additional psf

I had to remove the metal power steering pipe from my car as it was leaking badly and I am waiting to get a replacement.. meanwhile I have other jobs to do on car such as find a fuel leak so is it okay if I start the engine of my car without touching the steering wheel and without driving it...

I didnt use a special tool for the tightening sequence It does seem to be in the inner tie rod being a bit loose. It dont make sense cos when I was fitting the inner tie rod and tightening it up it didnt seem to tighten to more than just under a full turn and any turn after the first turn...
