Hi mate, I did try this but will happily give this a go again. I actually drained the system, ran 2 litres of Sentinelx400 (3 weeks) and then drained again and filled with 2 litres of Sentinelx100.

Hi, silly question but my central heating system has two zone valves (upstairs and downstairs). Do I need to manually open these when bleading the system?

No worries, there isn’t an expansion tank as such since it’s a Combi (sealed system). Had the last engineer take a look and he couldn’t figure it out, thought it may be a leak but can’t for the life of me see even a drip anywhere!
