Saw this photo of a house on RM

You can often get it from comparing with the EPC records. I guess we could ask FMT how he go it.

Saw this photo of a house on RM

Its not mine and I won't be buying it but I just noticed it. Here's the link in case anyone else is even more curious than me and digs into the planning... https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/167761445#/media?activePlan=1&id=media8&ref=photoCollage&channel=RES_BUY

Saw this photo of a house on RM

It might be fake but its definitely one of the photos on a Rightmove listing. Not sure why an EA would leave it as is if it didn't exist. Understandable though in this age of AI, photoshop etc to think that. Dunno maybe you'll turn out to be right but I don't think so....

    Chopping up a big fridge/freezer

I have a feeling I'm going to be told its not legal and generally I shouldn't do it. Its 2M tall and fits into one kitchen bay so about 600x600 Council wants £58 to collect. I'm planning to take off the doors and unscrew anything I can see. In fact I'd be willing to take the time to dismantle...

Ball valve in cold water tank with very low mains pressure

I know this is 11 years old but its as relevant now as it was then. In my search for the ideal valve, I have noticed that a 3/4" valve I bought actually had if anything a slightly smaller restriction than a 1/2" I already had. Both are part 2s. So I would think that connecting it would only be...

How to install a railing on these steps

I don't know although could ask the builder next week. Are you saying that would affect the method of installation of a railing ? Or just the type that might be required ?

How to install a railing on these steps

Ahhh but not where these stairs are being installed. (A certain war-torn eastern european country.....). That said, clearly looks like you could break your ankle easily on them. I don't know yet if they plan to fit some wood on top and if so whether that would reduce said tread significantly...

Problem with British Gas Boiler RD1

This thread seems to be awakened every few years probably because to those that work with this boiler its pretty useful. Nobody from a position of knowledge has commented on the "thermistor crunch" except a few that say "it worked". Maybe there are so few of these boilers around now (?) its not...

Working boiler getting replaced can it be used for spares

At risk of being hammered by those in the secret board, you could do what I did and have two boilers running side by side (not at the same time and valved off) so that when the new one breaks in the middle of winter, you don't have to wait a week or more to get it fixed.

It must be time for frost stat questions

No probs made up for the fact that some of your older posts had helped me. Perhaps I'm getting too old and confused these days but did you post something about Opentherm ? That's what I've finally got working on my old S-Plan. Btw my previous boiler just had _one_ terminal which needed a SL...

It must be time for frost stat questions

I've got mine working now. What Stem describes is I think for a traditional boiler expecting a "switched live" input. My boiler has two low voltage terminals that when OPEN (not connected to each other) the boiler fires. Therefore, the wiring is the complete opposite. The boiler is an Intergas...

It must be time for frost stat questions

So my heat only boiler has two low-voltage terminals for the frost stat. If left open the boiler will turn on so if there is no frost stat present a link needs to be put in to join the terminals. But I want to put in a frost stat ..... I've been scratching my head wondering how am I going to...
