hot water working fine but c/heating locking out after about 6 minutes any ideas,thanks

it seems that the burner is firing up on its own with neither the heating turned on or the taps opened

yes i think it is ch thermistor, not sure what it clips to

the model is a compact 100e i have just noticed that there are 2 orange wires coming from the front panel, they seem to have some type of red sensor on them and a spring clip that indicates that it was attatched to something but it is hanging free at the moment

central heating works fine but after running hot water only the boiler locks out, any ideas
