I managed to figure out my diverter valve was faulty after typing 'central heating on with hot water' into Google. The reason I came on here was to ask why it was only doing it on the bath tap and shower which no one has actually managed to answer.

I haven't asked anything to do with a gas related issue. As you already know the problem is with my diverter valve and I have already said I wouldn't touch anything to do with the gas side of things.
