Chri5 - I have tried this and the light doesn't switch off..... Starspark1 - the 3 red you say to put them in a chocblock - conected to what? earths done black switch fit with red switch to new live/line? 2 remaining blacks fit to nerw neutral currentlly no downstairs light.....

trying to replace the strip light in the kitchen and am confused over the wiring.... New light has three terminals, but the old one is a bit concerning.... Please helpby telling me what goes where... 3 x red 3 x black 2 x other thanks! :shock:
