We never asked him to touch the pump just the valve.

The pump was upside down originally. My wife phoned him & he said it was upsidedown due to the way the system flows. I asked the new plumber he said it didn't matter which way up it was??? The pump is running.

No, was working but had to have a new 3 point valve as it was not switching over.
