    Thanks namsag, I've just printed off the manual so Ill check the connections before trying to solder it up. Just one thing, do I use leaded or unleaded solder with me rothenberger. :lol:

    Rothenberger-Rolot S2 are the best brazing rods available. Cu - 92.8% P - 6.3. About £40 quid per kilo. Silver can be added which of course increases the price and lowers the skill required to use them.

    hard to say. i bought a large pair of rothenberg plastic cutters at 25 quid. they even cut up to 42mm waste pipe. . it depends what sizes u need them for and how much use they'll get.

    Should I remove blowtorch from gas canister when not in use?

    I take my Rothenberg torch off the canister at home, but it doesn't get a lot of use. The same torch at work gets left on as we use it quite frequently (good old steel fasteners into aluminium casings, a daily fight!).

    bahco grips

    Take more care of your tools and then they wont be so expensive,fleabay is the cheapest place i know of .I have my Footys which i started with as an apprentice.I also use the large Rothenberger grips they are alot sturdier then the Bahcos
