    You have to expose the old foundations by means of test holes to see how thick and how deep they are. Then get the local building control officer out to check and hopefully pass them to build an extra floor. Educated guess is that they will not be strong enough as they were only proberly...

    Never put cement based products directly onto copper pipe, it rots it through time and does not allow for expansion, place copper pipe or any other pipe in a plastic conduit then fill the channel

    Takes a long time to build your reputation up, but if you start at the bottom and work up i.e. local papers etc you will get there eventually. Don't expect to make it over night,. Walk before you crawl before you run :) ..and make sure you give it 100% I myself don't advertise now, I get...

    Cracks between Walls & Ceiling

    If it is cracking at the top where the plaster meets the ceiling, its probably due to noggins been omitted from the floor joists that allow you to nail the plaster board close up to the brick/studwall. The only long term remedy would be to insert noggins from the floor above and re-nail.
