Water leaking through shower control panel when basin tap turned on?!

Ok, some progress- I took the front panel off, and have retested. The water is leaking through the seal on the shaft for the diverter valve (turning it one way is the bath and the shower if you turn it the other way) Another fault, the shower doesn’t actually get very hot, despite hot water to...

Water leaking through shower control panel when basin tap turned on?!

Pretty sure there isn’t a pump- but that’s a sensible question/suggestion of why it might leak. I’m not at the house now, but will be back at the weekend and will check.

Water leaking through shower control panel when basin tap turned on?!

Hi all, So here’s an odd one- we’ve just purchased a house (picked up the keys on Friday!) and the bathroom has this strange issue- hope the video shows it. No doubt this will be relatively easily resolved with a new seal somewhere, but I’m intrigued by the water route- the panel doesn’t...

Kitchen counter LEDS are faulty- uniformly dim

Yes, I did a reverse image search and found similar- but I don’t know which ones are suitable. The information I have is the transformer is putting out 43v and there are 10 leds (I’m expecting to replace all of them). I don’t have a way of measuring the current on the circuit. Surely there’s...

Kitchen counter LEDS are faulty- uniformly dim

Ok, an update- as this is a neighbours flat it hasn’t been a priority but I was reminded about this and had another look. So it turns out the Led downlighters aren’t glued into the shelf bottom as suspected, but just pressed in and can be carefully removed by inserting a knife into the gap and...

Kitchen counter LEDS are faulty- uniformly dim

Ok, thanks for all your suggestions. I can take the system apart and wire up 4 at a time to see if one particular led is at fault easily enough, if nothing else that is a) free and b) will eliminate that possibility. @SUNRAY If the system isn’t drawing enough load, could I wire up an extra led...

Kitchen counter LEDS are faulty- uniformly dim

I thought that, but they’re all a uniform dimness. I suppose it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that there could be a fault with one that makes it dim and somehow makes the others as dim - as they’re all wired in series and removing any plug makes them all go off I’d need to do some...

Kitchen counter LEDS are faulty- uniformly dim

Thanks- we’re about to buy a house that needs some work, so I expect I’ll be posting more quite soon… Ok, that explanation of constant current makes sense. Cheers

Kitchen counter LEDS are faulty- uniformly dim

Hi all, First post here! But no doubt there’ll be a few more… I searched but couldn’t find anything similar to this answered before. We live in a new build (2012) block of flats - in the kitchen there are low voltage kitchen counter/shelf LEDs, numbering about 10 (it varies slightly by flat...
