I have read about this before, and one suggestion was to line the cistern with polystyrene panels in order to insulate the cold water form the outside air temperature. Obviously they have to be glued in place !

Has anyone had experience of getting lead service pipes relined ? If so, what does it involve, and how expensive is it ?
