Completed 10mm from MET to garage .

The only thing in question now, is where to fit the 10mm bonding to the gas pipe in the house, I can't fit a bond to the gas pipe has it enters the house, it comes in under the floor boards, so was asking now if bonding to the gas feed to the boiler will be ok !

The boiler gas pipework is the only place to fit a bond inside the house , it comes into the house under the floor boards and up into the kitchen to the boiler

I thought that the gas pipework has to be bonded has it enters the house , has well has the meter in the garage !

Would like something more robust for the steel pipework !

Thanks Guys n Gals for your inputs on this. This is what I am going (doing) to do: 10mm from MET to a earth block in the garage. then from the earth block: .1.to CU, .2nd to Gas riser, .3rd to Meter outlet to house, plus the gas pipe at the boiler all ready has 10mm to it .

Plus the garage cu !

It is a metal gas meter !

That is good then so will pull through a the 10mm from the MET to a earthing block in the garage, then 10mm to the CU, outlet pipe of gas meter, and the gas riser , job done !. ps: The difficult part is attaching a bond to the riser, not sure how to go about doing that, would have to be some...

NO, it does not have one of those, but it seems that I have to bond to the outlet of the meter and the riser coming into the garage, not sure how I am going attach a bonding to that, any ideas ?.

But I thought that the 10mm bonding from the MET to the Meter had to be continuous, if I put in a earthing terminal before the meter it wil have broken the continuous run !

The gas pipe riser in the garage is 3/4" bsp steel pipe !

Yes I told them that at the time they where doing it, I had to put a piece of wood behind the the riser to bring it forward a bit, it is lined with plastic onl metal for about 6 meters into the road !

Have used the swa for earthing each end, there will not be a car charging point from the garage

Hi Not sure what you mean " isolation block" it has a valve on the main gas riser pipe into the garage before the meter !
