Just getting quotes in preparation for when it is brought up in survey not to get the work done unless buyer requests it. Or if I end up putting back on the market.
Yes that's my main worry if there is internal water damage but I would have thought surveyor would flag that...
Thanks Nige - so1 roofer I rang today says just needs cappings, another came this morning and said it was fascia, soffit, guttering and felt £1800. Just wish buyers surveyor would get on with his report so I know what I'm dealing with.

Thank you - my knowledge of building is pitiful - is this a big job or mainly something cosmetic. Wouldn't even know where to begin but could do with an idea of costs from a tradesman.
Not sure where to start but areas around my top window and fascia look to be rotten. My house is on the market so I suspect this would be flagged in the survey.
Just worried it's something of serious concern.
