    combi boiler in bathroom ...connection?

    Thankyou for the quick reply . I am not involved in the plumbing just the electrics. I think the boiler just falls into zone3 (abolished under 17th edition!) but thought it safer to put FCU outside the room. Its been awhile since I have seen a boiler put in a bathroom , I thought it was illegal !

    Hi, currently working on an extension where the boiler is to be in the bathroom. What are the current regulations regarding electrical connection? I'm thinking FCU outside bathroom and final boiler connection via a flex outlet plate. Is this right?? Cheers Steve

    Hello When fitting ELV 12volt spotlights with 'dimmable transformers' do you still need a special type of DIMMER SWITCH or do normal DIMMER SWITCHES still work ?? A certain well known supplier lists 'dimmer switches' and LV dimmer swithches. doesn't LV include 240v ? ..... confused...

    Need elecrtical diagram for a ARISTON RFFI 21 or does anyone know what connections 1 to 6 do? they are arranged as three linked pairs. I am fitting a room stat to the system. Any help appreciated. Cheers Steve.

    Surface Wiring in Cellar

    Thanks for the reply. Basically I want to run a new ring circuit round the cellar wall to save disturbing a 'very nice' lounge carpet up above. (customer request) Trunking / conduit is obviously best practice but as always it comes down to cost. The cable run is at head height / along joists...

    Why haven't I thought of an angle grinder before :o I have an SDS drill / chisel but it tends to have a mind of its own and puts big holes (sometimes serving hatches :lol: ) in the wall! A couple or more cuts down the brick with a grinder should give the SDS chisel some guidelines? NOW...

    Just curious!

    If said nail goes through cable from enthusiastic DIY you will be very glad a new piece of cable can be pulled through the said conduit ! (Hopefully!)
