    Bellbox replacement

I'd say so. The forum's self appointed stazi would probably disagree though. No doubt we'll now be subject to a 5 page meandering from him.

Cheers Euro. He seems to think waxing literally, much of it nonsense, makes him correct. Pointing out a simple error of his - and one he seems incapable of spotting and correcting - makes me a wrong 'un.

@chaindaisy. Perhaps if you stopped trying the holier than thou approach you too might be more helpful. No need to go beyond your 1st post in this thread to see you were of no assistance to the op. And catching the top of someone's head suggests the kit ain't up to the job. Now, if...

Nothing snide at all. Perfectly clear answer. And my original comment wasn't directed at you specifically, just the kit. It ain't up to the task. You don't like the answer, doesn't mean it's wrong.

    Camera OSD through coax?

The test monitor is an aid. Not always suitable for spot on focussing/positioning. It's whats seen at the other end to camera that matters.

    Camera OSD through coax?

Regarding the test monitor, either will do. There are several around that price band. Personally i'd go for the 2nd unit you linked. gives you the common 485 protocols so will cover you for future use. The onboard 12v output is fine - until you find you are looking at a 24v camera. Besides...

    Camera OSD through coax?

Simply clarifying the situation. We traditionally use up the coax for domes. But we are talking big systems, high value install and property/premises. We still have to fit traditional domes/statics and even with or budgets, these are standard products. Now, bearing in mind they all have to be...
