And your earlier comment was the clue to your question. If the Insurers ask for g2 or above then diy install isn't acceptable.

Anyone Had A Ticket In Supermarket Car Park/Private Land?

Nope. Some have worked out it is cheaper to issue court proceedings than follow their own AoS CoP. The rules changed on 1.10.12 Ignoring used to be the safe option but not necessarily safe now.

Anyone Had A Ticket In Supermarket Car Park/Private Land?

Absolute nonsense regarding enforcable after contact. The scammers have a number of hoops to jump through. The current advice, if you are up for it is to contact the scammer with a soft appeal and demand the popla code if rejected. Then submit a strong appeal and this costs the scammer £27+vat.

Just bought some myself. Significant saving on their ebay site compared to their own website. Must compliment them too. Ordered Friday lunchtime. In my hand Saturday morning. Can't get better than that.

Equality act, blue badge and scammers. Evidence suggests none of the scammers are compliant and therefore neither is the land owner, usually the supermarket. Whole world of pain waiting for them if someone challenges them.

Might help your argument if you knew about the problem before jumping into the argument. Myself? I collect these tickets by the bag full. Why? Because the scammers are there to rake in all the money they can get - whilst defrauding HMRC of millions. Perhaps if you actually the VCS vHMRC...

I suggest you actually try reading up on POFA then. As for getting tickets, i get them by the bag full - perks of the job. Dealing with a response to one at the moment. Basing it on Agency Law to see how they trip themselves up on that. Like i said. It was me who got Smart Parking Ltd...

    Private Parking Invoice £100

The Law makes you do nothing of the sort. We have yet to see any correspondence from any of the Scammers that complies with POFA, therefore they cannot fall back on it. In the VCS case Hibbotson failed to play the game correctly with VCS and gave them a chance to go to court. Only at the end...

Technicality??? You mean like no legal right to form a contract? No legal right to issue penalties? It is no technicality. Just like it was no technicality i used when getting them fcktards Smart Parking/TCP banned from accessing DVLA data due to their criminal activity. The...

Bare in mind it is County Court so holds no precedent so no, based on this case motorists will not be due any money back. The VCS v HMRC is the one that lays it all out. However, Here's a link to the transcript of the case at Scunthorpe. Worth reading just for the ending...

    Private Parking Invoice £100

No, No, No. Parking Eye are one of the biggest chancers - and there letters are non compliant with POFA, therefore they cannot use it. So, safe to ignore. Also, try looking up VCS v HMRC 2012. UTT. and that's precedent. For fun, you might want to read VCS v Hibbotson, Scunthorpe. That Judge...

Joe-90 is correct. And POFA makes no change to the way things were before 1st October. To rely on POFA, the scammers have to comply with it first. None of them seem to have managed to do so yet.
