    What are the Security Grades?

Also stems from the insurers. They work on Grades. For an install to be 'Graded' it must be installed/signed off/maintained/whatever by an accredited Installer. These installers are examined by their Inspectorate to confirm procedures/practices/Insurance etc are all to standard and kosher...

decided on a setup, but can you recommend a system?...

I pointed that out to him the other day. He stated it on a thread discussing wireless kit. Now, how much of the main stream wireless stuff he was alluding to is rated at grade 3? - not withstanding the diy install grade.

    Response RE3000 Alarm 418 mhz

What a pompous prig you are. If we were to correct all the errors and misinformation you happily spout the forum would grind to a halt.

Nothing careless in your comment though. You thought it the only way to get decent kit fitted. This was in your rant against established accredited companies - whilst missing the irony of it.

you really are a strange character. What bit of "all will do fine", " Texe is expensive and probably overkill" aren't relevant?? Come on, don't be shy, tell us and in 30 words or less. Oh, and any reason why you keep recommending that dodgy website? You know, the one of NO relevance...

    Scantronic ION-40 - installation question

Perhaps you should wind your neck in and think carefully about the tripe you spout. I look forward to your explanation on dado rails. Followed by where the OP states he is currently suffering from problems. Then perhaps take your medication for your paranoia.

    Scantronic ION-40 - installation question

Bearing in mind, and i've seen no mention of it, there is no current indication that you are suffering from induced voltage and/or spikes. So probably worrying over nothing. Can i ask why you say the cables (alarm and mains) are too close to each other??
