    Wossat?

Wikipedia is not for rough estimates. Diameter != CSA. A 16mm² solid conductor is only 4.5mm in diameter. Compare the visible diameter of the conductors with the total diameter of what appears to be 3G1 flex on top of the drum.

    Wossat?

What's your estimate of the diameter of those conductors, then?

    Wossat?

[/url] The caption comes from the article, not the image. By my eye it sure as hell looks like 5G16.

    Wossat?

So which joker edited that to claim it's 2.5mm² with no evidence?

Acer Travelmate 2350, LEDs on but no boot

Bad caps are pretty unlikely on a laptop. Component level repair is possible (I just checked and appear to have full schematics for one of those), but requires tools and experience. Also, a laptop of that age is very much not worth the expense.

    New computer currys

Those requirements are disjointed and illogical. And are still only asking for 2006 era hardware. 'quite a good graphics card' would describe the several year old mid-high range card I have (a 660 Ti), not onboard GPUs supporting a standard from 2006, which I am hesitant to believe is...

    New computer currys

No, it doesn't. It requires virtually nothing, graphics wise. Literally any non-broken (ancient Intel need not apply) device from the 21st century.

A kettle costs £5. Just buy a new one.

    Only in the USA, thankfully.

Many modern handguns world wide don't have safeties. Including the standard issue pistols used by our armed forces. They don't need them.

Mouting TV bracket to plasterboard wall

You're going way overboard, honestly. The advice given of just screwing a sheet of ply to all 3 studs is quite sufficient. If you want to hide the ply, then chisel out the studs and set it flush (they will be stronger than before once the ply is in, if you do a neat job, especially if you...

Not separately if it's double action, no. A lot of modern pistols are DAO and have no manual safety, but it's unlikely a 2 year old could pull those with both hands. It was likely a single action with a manual catch, which is easily enough pushed off by the inquisitive hands of a child. It...

That depends if it's single action or double action.. some don't even _have_ a manual safety. An increasing number, actually.

It does not take very long to rack the slide of a pistol. .. something I imagine most people in this country are unaware of.. along with most other operational facts of firearms, as they're so scary, people can't bear to think about them.

And the only problem I see here is the stupid woman who carried it loaded.

Boring old archaic MPEG2 for SD, I'm afraid. MPEG-4 AVC (... H264) for HD.

    Makita cordless drill Battery removal

Penetrating oil doesn't do much to plastic.. except damage it. Clamp the drill lightly in a vice (wrap something around it to protect it), hold the release button in tight, and tap firmly on the back of the battery. Might get it out.

When is double insulated lighting not double insulated?

Amazon images come from images-amazon.com. Yes, .com. Why would they bother with images-amazon.co.uk? It serves no purpose.

Easter egg? Commonly used tools? None of the above. It is simply a shortcut used by the search system for control panel items.
