i know this is going to be a bit difficult to answer but
i noticed that neither the upstairs or downstairs mcb for the lights would actually switch off the lights on their own, so i worked out the most likely cross was on the stairs and indeed someone had installed a single gange single way...
I am after your suggestions for low power downights, (both the wife and the layout of the room prescribe downights)

I have now, but i am still at a loss. This document looks very commercial in the wording.
To give more background the W/c is an existing outside W/c being brought inside by building an extersion around it. It has an opening window as does the utility room that is being built.
