Im having my meter replaced in a few weeks and would like to get the person to wire in an isolator while they are there so i can later replace the CU, can someone point me at a suitable product so i can have it ready for when they arrive? thanks in advance

The problem is it is an extension to the existing circuit. I wanted to do it without someone qualified by a competant person scheme and/or the hassle of BC. I doubt i can swap out the MCB in the CU but will look into it. Also if i have to get BC involved i may as well do the CU at the same...

just to let you know i changed the springs as it was cheaper than the suspension and it seems to have done the trick :)

come to think of it this probably happened shortly after i moved, and it was moved without the transit bracket. Could it have stretched the spring at the top of the machine?

any more ideas anyone ?

It has not been changed

The suspension is still securly fastened at both ends and the springs at the top. Actualy the only sign of rust on the whole machine is in the drain pump where this pipe has been leaking on.

Yes the block seems to be securly attached and not damaged

i thought lpg was twice the calorific value (approx) of NG and so NG jets should be approx twice the size of LPG ones ?!?
