    The problem is it is an extension to the existing circuit. I wanted to do it without someone qualified by a competant person scheme and/or the hassle of BC. I doubt i can swap out the MCB in the CU but will look into it. Also if i have to get BC involved i may as well do the CU at the same...

    come to think of it this probably happened shortly after i moved, and it was moved without the transit bracket. Could it have stretched the spring at the top of the machine?

    The suspension is still securly fastened at both ends and the springs at the top. Actualy the only sign of rust on the whole machine is in the drain pump where this pipe has been leaking on.
