got a reply from chris R that helped :wink: . i turned the heat on rad down half way and it started to heat up . thanks a million. i was all ready to buy a new one when all along it was a dodgy valve.but why when i have the radiator on high it doesnt work :x ? Oh and i turned all the rads down...

we took rad off to plaster. was off a few days. when we put it back on it haeted up nice. but then went cold. we took off flushed with power washer then put back on. it was hot aGAIN BUT NOT FOR LONG. DO WE NEED A NEW RAD.? it is an old rad but it was the best one on system until we took off and...
