    That was it mate, sorted, thanks ;) because of the pic in my 1st post in this thread i was putting the clip about 3/4 cm down, so as u said neck thought i'd have another go and put it right at the top of the sump and its all good now :) Nice one ;) Just wondering when i opened the bottom...

    only me again :) just wondering if you mean like this? and then both ends of the tie going through the middle of lifter? Also would the heater get hot enough to melt the cable ties?

    Ok cool, thanks. Im sending that heater back and the sellers going to send me a new one with the connection on. So im just wondering a earth wires a earth wire right? i can just buy some off ebay, buy the connectors, crimp tool and just make a new earth wire how it was before i cut it?
