@diy_fun_uk Maybe wrong but it looks nothing like that. It appears to be apart of the frame. As in each corner. Maybe I'm over thinking it or I need to add more photos in better light?

Bought a house with three pvc doors all have similar damage to the threshold area. Will a kick plate cover this. Or has anyone fibreglass/plastic welded a patch on these with any sort of positive results. Not quite sure what tenants children were doing but clearly they didn't care too much...
