    Ideal Classic FF250 issues

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but the issues you have been having are very similar to mine. After messing around with the connections on the boiler circuit board, I noticed the thermocouple connection was dodgy (turns out I had a dry solder joint). What I find odd is that with the thermocouple...

Upgrading from LP241 to Nest 3rd Gen

Upgrading from LP241 to Nest 3rd Gen

Thank you stem. Unless I not understanding this correctly I don't think I have enough spare wires to power the nest with T1 & T2. Would it be possible to put a 240V>12V power supply next to the wiring centre and use 2 wires that go to the existing thermostat to power the nest? Routing a cable...

Upgrading from LP241 to Nest 3rd Gen

Am I right in thinking the CH OFF wire is not needed because without a call for heat the CH is off (either from the LP241 or an 'open' thermostat) If true, can terminal 1 on the heat link have nothing connected to it?

Upgrading from LP241 to Nest 3rd Gen

Hello. I know this question has been asked many times but I would just like to clarify a few things before my new thermostat arrives. My setup: I believe I have a Y plan system (a 3 way valve is located in the airing cupboard upstairs along with the pump and 'wiring centre'. The LP241 is...
