Potterton EP6000 keeps making a high pitched noise. If I move it about slightly it goes. I can't find any lose or dirty electrical connections. Could there be any other reason? If I need to replace has anyone a favourite or recommendation please?

We had a power cut while a cleaning cycle was running. When the power came back on the Anti Flood control is running the drain pump continuously. I've tried switching on and off but it doesn't finish. Any ideas how I can turn the float switch off before resorting to calling out someone please...

Motor spindle's just about had it; WD40 letting it just hang on to stop the rattle. Can you get replacement motors anywhere ? I've searched Google but not getting anywhere. Seems the easiest solution to me, but if not available can anyone suggest their preference for a new fan, with timer...

Thanks for the advice. I'd not thought of simply turning the housing. I think I'm still getting the professional in just in the offchance I get caught with old difficult leaky valves and then I'd be stuck. I love this website, thanks to all. :D
