Thanks for your comments. I spoke to the local building inspector before building and he told me to add pillars to strengthen the walls which i have done. There are also quite a few people in my area who have done a similar job. What size timbers would I need? isn't it the same as house...

I have just built a large garden shed and I would like to make a roof terrace on top with timber decking. Anyone help on the best way to construct the roof to achieve this. There is no roof at all at the moment so I would like advice on joists, roofing and how to fix the deckboards if possible.
