I know but we have checked the door and it is closed. I have now called a repairman who says that it is likely to be the electical switch in the door which has failed.

Having been working perfectly, halfway through a wash cycle error message E40 came up and the door light started flashing. Despite switching off and then trying different programmes I still get the same message and the machine doesn't function. :cry: Any ideas?
