Bosch Classixx 6 stopping at rinse cycle (SOLVED)

We have a Bosch Classixx 6 Vario Perfect which has taken to stopping usually when it should be starting to rinse. We find it with all the lights out. To get it going we have been setting it to rinse & spin on the assumption the washing cycle is complete. Sometimes it may stop again during...

Sorry, and thanks for the reply, I have a feeling it won’t look very good even if it were fully jet washed … I wondered if there was something to cover it with I was unaware of. Ray

    Improve concrete pad ideas

This was a 3.8 x 2.6m greenhouse base years ago, I started cleaning the other day with a jet washer until it developed a fault of only being capable of running for a split second before stopping. I wondered if there was a one piece rubber mat available to cover it or any other ideas would be...

    Nicked a gas pipe

I understand Mike, most of my similar soldering has been on slot racing cars and I’ve never seen any solder separate from the brass, copper or steel. In this case there is no hole just a scrape maybe a twentieth of the way into the pipe thickness. Ray

Before you do … if it were me … I’d ask the local water authority in our case, Yorkshire Water, to identify where the on street stop tap is and if it’s not operational get them to fix it.

Your Help with Fluidmaster 3514B Cistern Valve

On checking today it was still overflowing into the bowl. Bought a new unit with the intention of just changing the valve body leaving the standpipe in place. This idea is frowned upon in the instructions so I bought and fitted a new seal for the existing valve. Several hours later it seems to...

You were exactly right Chris, I moved it away from the cistern and the float now works as you would expect. Still mystified by the relationship between the upstairs toilet and bath, and this downstairs toilet being spurred into action. Thank you again Ray

Your Help with Fluidmaster 3514B Cistern Valve

Having not worked on one of these I'm unsure what can and can't be done. The downstairs toilet cistern occasionally overflows into the bowl. It happens when a bath is run upstairs, or when the toilet is flushed upstairs. The float is fully underwater when the water level is in it's "normal"...
