Ecotec plus 831 Vaillant Boiler - Heating always on

You should get the installer back if it's not working right, the next stage would be checking voltages with a multimeter

Ecotec plus 831 Vaillant Boiler - Heating always on

Is there a setting to turn the boiler controller off? Your external thermostat should then override when required

That doesn't mean you have to do it though?

can you use 3 phase SWA cable for 230vAC single phase?

Makes no odds to me, IMO the armour only really suffers if they've been poorly installed or subjected to repeated submersion/corrosive gases. Rarely going to get that in domestic unless you fit it too close to the ground.

I've got no qualms about using armour as cpc

What size is the wire from consumer unit to cooker switch

Pretty sure they're saying the terminals will only accept 10mm cable at most.

Kitchen Tap - Copper Pipe -> Push Fit Flexible Connector -> Copper Pipe

You could, they normally come in 300 or 500mm so make sure 500 will make it to the tap. You only need to go hand tight + a little nip when connecting to the new tap, don't go mental or you'll ruin the rubber seal

    Shower connection to 110mm waste

If it's really 50mm od our 50mm solvent weld might fit straight over it

    Euro to British adapters

One of these and a 50 to 40mm reducer would work. You'd need a bit of 50mm pipe too. Wouldn't be surprised if there's other workarounds I don't know about though

What size is the wire from consumer unit to cooker switch

Central Heating Nightmare - Air in System Daily

Could be slow enough not to notice. Disconnect it and see if the pressure drops.

Central Heating Nightmare - Air in System Daily

If we're assuming it's not the boiler and you don't lose pressure the only likely explanation is you're not getting all the air out. Do you have an external pump or expansion vessel? If your filling loop is permanently connected could a passing valve be hiding the pressure drop?

    EV Charger Replacement and Wiring

I'm not sure if the rcd provided with the easee is compliant, I fell foul of this with the zappi. Most installers would want to fit an upfront rcd
