Thanks for the reply breezer, what I was concerned about was the bathroom zoning question. Under the bath above the floor is zone 0, how about under the bath but under the floorboards?

I want to install 8 low voltage downlights in my living room. The bath room upstairs runs over part of the living and one of the downlights would come in the ceiling void right under the bath. Would this be legal? and if it is would I need to use an IP rated fitting?

That's OK then because I have to say I am rather fond of my old shed.

Can someone tell me what are the relative advantages and disadvantages of Mains against LV downlighters and can either type be used in any situation? Also these lights must generate a lot of heat, are there any restrictions on the dimensions of the ceiling space (joist size). Would I need to get...
