I had the problem before where the pilot of my kingfisher2 boiler would go out every week...I got a plumber who changed the pilot injector etc...but now the pilot seems to go out once a month which is not bad but i was to know wot could be the reason

I thought of putting more details but i realised it is a mistake.... i should have posted in the old one...any way please do forward any suggestions... parvez

Hi, I have a kingfisher2 and about two months ago it the pilot light go off by itself every 5 to 6 days. A corgi register changed the thermocouple, clean it and regulate the gas supply and all was fine. However, yesterday the same problems happened. I have got two suggestions firstly...

I would also like to stress that the boiler was serviced just three years ago....suppose it is the pilot injecter... The fact that after I changed the thermocouple...the boiler worked fine for about one month...so don't you think if it is over heating..it would have cut down before one month...

I'm trying to get a corgi register. The first one i was recommended told me he needs to drain the system..I dunno anyone. I live in North London so if you can suggest anyone before Thursday so that i can cancel British Gas...that would be a great help.. thx in anticipation parvez

I also want to add that the place the boiler is i dont think it is wind...what happen if the gas pressure is low..can that be rectify?One plumber told me that he needs to drain the system and clean the boiler(over the phone)..he is asking for £700..i cant afford those sum of money right...
