Thank's for the reply. I did manage to buy the last resistor in existance today for the grand price of £1:40 though, so I'm hoping the valve is OK.

I'm trying to track down a part for an old Baxi BB3 back boiler. The part number is 042051 and I'm told its a Half inch stevens valve. If any one has any ideas where I can lay my hand on one, please let me know. It's been going for 30 odd years with no problems, but now it just wont fire up.
