Just to clarify what i said in the OP; it is a diesel heater. All that runs on electric is the fan, the glow plug and the the ECU So you are saying that a 30amp/hr batter should run the cameras then?

The volume of 800 kg of ballast is approximately 0.44 to 0.5 cubic metres And I have 2 X 205L oil drums. 205L x2= 410 litres. which is less then 0.44 right? so it should of done!
