Think I've worked it out it's the one on the left closest to the house. The other one didn't turn (think that little screw locks it) so gave the other one a twist and it seems to have fixed it.

Amazing thank you - so clockwise a bit on the middle hinge top adjuster until it doesn't catch any more then clockwise on the top of the other two hinges until I feel any slack is removed. Will give it a go thanks for the advice. Gotta try and find an allen key in the garage now.....

Yes that is what the regional guy said 'we will put the brace on the underside of the rafters so you can still access your loft'.
