    Yeah i saw that. I want to cut out the part of the wall its fitted to, to fit in my fridge coz there's no room in the kitchen, all tge wires look long enough to turn 90 degrees so i may as well update the carrier.

    The warm light of day. They are under the stairs. Incredible when you are in a new place how you miss obvious stuff. So glad i didn't cut a hole in the ceiling or rip the carpet on the stairs. Thanks for all tha advise. And of course I didn't get a survey....

    Then it has to be behind one of the steps near the top of the stairs. I have searched every conceivable place. Those grey wires go towards the underside of the top step and afterwards there are plenty of white wires. Will look tomorrow, will be gutted because the carpet on tge stairs is ok.

    Hello everyone, I've just bought a house with this set up. The key meter had a debt on it which EDF have just cleared via a code, I have then topped up and the meter has come alive but the house is still dead. It seems like the meter isn't letting any power out. EDF are coming in 10 days to fit...
