I'm hoping it's OK as I think the damage is more steam based as water doesn't seem to hit that area but I could be seriously wrong!

I'm more than happy to try filler but there is nothing to fill. There are no holes, just missing paint and exposed plasterboard. Admittedly I need to sort out the little patch of mould or is it mildew?
