Yes, that is exactly why I prefer to do everything myself, cars, motorcycles, house, kitchen, bathroom, painting, woodworking, the lot. Unfortunately some things are difficult to do, such as this re-programming.

Yes, I believe that is the only way to go, after my attempts to find out how it works. Anyway, the parts are installed, and it takes only a serial cable on a laptop and 1 minute of engaging the function, to make it work.
