Connecting 4 food warmers to a single/double socket?

LOL, yes........we bought them prior to Christmas 2024 and used extension cables, burnt the house down and didn't want to do it again in 2025 ;)

Long reach cantilever TV bracket fixings?

The wall was artexed a couple of months before we bought the house, which was 2 years after Artex stopped using asbestos. It has a skim coat of plaster on top and I'll be using an 'xtra hand' vacuum attachment to avoid any dust.

Long reach cantilever TV bracket fixings?

I have a tube of resin left over from another job and did think to widen a couple of the holes and squirt a bit in around a couple of the screws. I've gone 'fancy' because, as Robin says above 'to stop crushing' in this case, the *plaster. *the stairwell plaster had a shrinkage gap between it...

Long reach cantilever TV bracket fixings?

I am putting a 55" OLED TV in the alcove next to the fireplace but in order to view it from several angles need to attach it via a 3 piece cantilever arm with a 700mm reach. The wall is solid 9" brick covered with old plaster some of which has a gap behind. With this in mind I've bought Corefix...

Slimline USB Chargeable PIR LED 'cabinet light strip' for external use?

We have half a dozen solar powered lights around the garden and as we move into winter it's touch and go if they hold a charge.

Slimline USB Chargeable PIR LED 'cabinet light strip' for external use?

I'm not the only one using the gate.....'remember Keys, Phone, Wallet and head torch in case it's dark' is not exactly as simple as waving your hand in front of the PIR on a perfectly positioned light source.

Slimline USB Chargeable PIR LED 'cabinet light strip' for external use?

That's got me thinking if something similar could be attached to the brick pillar behind the wooden beam so hidden from passers by and away from the U-channel with the light angled to cast a beam from the side?

Slimline USB Chargeable PIR LED 'cabinet light strip' for external use?

My initial thought was 'good shout' but a brick light would be too big and difficult to fit in the right place. On the inside of the cross beam we have a u-shaped aluminium channel which we hang screens on for a bit of privacy so no fixing point. If we attached to the outside - the gate is 4ft...

Slimline USB Chargeable PIR LED 'cabinet light strip' for external use?

    Not very practical:D We've 3 cars a van and 2 push bikes. We'd need a box full;)

Slimline USB Chargeable PIR LED 'cabinet light strip' for external use?

We have a set of farm gates set between 2 pillars with a 7" x 2" beam above. The gates are secured with a padlock and now that it's dark it's a fiddle to hold your phone torch in one hand whilst entering the combination. The bright idea was to put a slim cabinet light on the underside of the...

Composite slats - do they exist?

Nice one, thanks... Maybe that one's a little too wide but I see they have other options. Local branch is literally 5 mins from me and I never knew it existed!

Composite slats - do they exist?

........as per the title? I'm hoping to make from scratch some removable slatted garden screens to hang from a Pergola. The options seem to be 20 x 45mm softwood or Cedar which I believe will be too heavy and I'm hoping to find some composite strips along the lines and size used to make...

    Laser Cleaning?

It does all seem a bit too good to be true and as I'm not in the market to spend £4k it's still a wire brush and paint remover for me! PS: I note that Laser Cleaners can be hired but the fact that training is offered for inexperienced users suggests they are not for your average DIYer?

    Laser Cleaning?

There's a number of Laser Cleaning videos on TikTok and the like showing coatings being magically removed from wooden bannisters etc., Laser cleaning isn't new, but the latest gadgets are a fraction of the price, starting at less than £100 but only available on Alibaba and other unknown...

Connecting 4 food warmers to a single/double socket?

We recently bought 4 Tower buffet food/plate warmers with the intention of placing them down the centre of the Xmas dining table. Unfortunately the power cords are only 80cm (31") long and the manufacturers instructions say DO NOT use extension cords with this appliance, so running an extension...

Wet look 'concrete' paving 'cobbles' sealer?

The retailer had said this stuff would do what I wanted it to....but following a trial on a couple of spare cobbles, with very little effect, I called the manufacturer who was extremely helpful and reduced my expectation for dramatic enhancements so I persevered and gave it a a try. Whilst the...

Looking for window supplier who can supply similar?

I tracked down the nearest stockist for the windows sold by the company you linked to and it would be cheaper to get the en-suite bathroom done:LOL:

How best to determine quality of ceramic WC, Sink etc.,?

So basically it's spend more money and toss a coin?:LOL::eek:

How best to determine quality of ceramic WC, Sink etc.,?

Yes, but paying more doesn't always mean better quality which is why I'm asking the question? But I'll counter that by saying that a manufacturer I once worked for simply re-packaged a product to look budget to sell at a lower rate into the DIY multiples.
