    Heatline Sargon Noise!!!!

Installed the new Sargon 35 yesterday, what the hell is going on?! Sounds like its about to take off to fu**in mars! The premix SIT fan vibrates like hell and makes a low frequency drone on slowing to low load. Talked to the local heatline guy today who said "its a noisyboiler". Why is there...

Heatline agents! Heatline Solaris 24 Vs 35 Difference?

I`m a reg installer and was wondering what is the physical difference between the two? I know the plate heat exchanger is larger on the 35 but what else? Is the burner and or p.c.b different or can you alter the `ramp` for larger output?

    Ideal Isar ( Evo 30 HE )

Why are Warm front installing these garbage? Is it a plan for the future to have an ongoing boiler replacement and repair scheme. From the amount of metal in the trap and under the exchanger i would be surprised if these things last 8 years.

    Ideal Isar ( Evo 30 HE )

Just been looking on ebay. Found someone who lives locally selling heating spares. £30 quid for the diverter cartridge. Not bad if its the right one.

    Ideal Isar ( Evo 30 HE )

Im not sure on the age. Customers no paperwork. When you say diverter are we talking about the internals or actuator or both. Are these boilers the worst thing ever? The amount of alli in the bottom of the boiler and condense trap was huge! Is this also common?

    Ideal Isar ( Evo 30 HE )

Got called out to the above today. Making a strange noise when switching back to heating after hot water. Sounds like a Knock coming from around the hydraulic section. Any ideas?

    warm front scheme

Go to www.eagagroup.com/schemes/ewfheatingscheme and register. I`ve been on it for a few weeks. Problem is out of the £300 grant eaga keep £50 for admin so you only recieve £250 back. I`m honest with the customers and explain this. Everyone thinks £50 admin on just £300 is exessive. So do i!

    Vokera Compact 35HE

I agree with gas guru. Go for the unvented cylinder and system boiler. Make sure you measure the standing mains pressure and if you have about 3.5 Bar build with a 25mm incoming main with a 22mm stoptap feeding the cylinder and cold water. As for the combi option people talk about flow rates...

Worcester 28 i Junior wont light.

If the hot water is ok but no heating then it may be the heating thermistor. The opposite applies if hot water and no heating. Also the old non condensing `i` range have a cross flow heat exchanger. This means that the pump is only needed in heating mode. If hot water but no heat ( or the...

Worcester 28 i Junior wont light.

Think your on the wrong boiler pal. The high limit stat on the 24i and 28i Junior range is located on top of the boiler next to the flue. I`m not talking about the HE range. Come back fella when you know your job.

    Central Heating tripped out

These boilers being heat only boilers dont have any low pressure cut out. So if your pressure drops the water fails to flow through the boiler and it overheats. There only safety device is a high limit (overheat) stat that needs to be manually reset. Stupid i know seeing as its inside the boiler.

    Central Heating tripped out

Was the boiler running when the pressure dropped? If so it may have overheated. Remove the front panels and you will find a overheat stat next to the heat exchanger. If its overheated the pin will have poppped out and you will need to push the pin back in to reset it. The boiler should then run...
