Cold feed is from cold water tank in loft. Hot is from hot water cylinder in airing cupboard. Pump is in bottom of airing cupboard

The problem is with the the cold tap in the basin. The pump directly feeds two showers and does not feed any other taps etc.

I have a shower mate pump for a gravity system feeding a mixer shower. Recently the pump has started cutting in briefly when I turn off the bathroom tap. Any suggestions what might be causing this or how to fix it? Thanks

Did you sort this? I had a similar prob with my dishwasher. Got an electric shock whilst touching the inside of the door when unloading. Turned out to be a fault with the earth circuit - the socket the dishwasher was plugged into wasn't connected to earth as the earth cable in another...

Did you get to the bottom of the problem? I had a similar problem with a dishwasher (electric shock from the inside of the door whilst unloading it) and it turned out the socket it was plugged into wasn't correctly earthed as the earth cable that was feed from another socket was lose.

Got a socket tester and tested socket and it showed wiring was correct. However I got an electrician in today and did some tests and identified it was a problem with the earth circuit - the earth was loose at the socket the dishwasher was connect to. Thanks to all for their advice

Thanks John D, I don't have enough knowledge to answer your questions so will need to get someone qualified in to have a look. So should I get the electrics checked out before I get a Bosch engineer to have a look at the dishwasher - or get the dishwasher checked out first? Chris
